Job Description

Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with is a member owned network of over 500 independent pharmacies delivering innovative pharmacy solutions and we are looking for 2nd shift Order Pickers.  These are full time 2nd shift positions in Durham, NC.

Pay: $16/hr to start (potential to earn $19/hr after being hired in)
Shift: Sun: 4:30pm - Complete, Mon-Thu: 6:30pm - Complete
         Total weekly hours will be around 40 but daily hours will vary
         
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: 
Order Pickers are responsible for filling orders to the specifications of the printed pick lists to be delivered to the conveyor or QC station.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Accurately pick orders to the specifications of the pick lists (quantity, correct product, product placement in correct tote)
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record according to company policy

SPECIFIC WORK TASK:
  • Accurately clock in/clock out orders
  • Pick orders according to the pick list specifications
  • Place completed orders at QC area for quality control or on conveyor belt
  • Remove empty boxes/trash from appropriate zones

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Ability to count
  • Hand/eye coordination
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic printer skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Due to the nature of this work there will be an extensive background check
