Job Description


Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a leading manufacturer of wood doors and we are now hiring Assembly Associates in Raleigh, NC. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for assembling interior and exterior doors based on work orders, blueprints, or specs. This is a full-time, 1st shift opportunity with growth potential and steady hours.

Pay: $17–$18/hour (BOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime: As needed (typically until 5:30 PM Mon–Thurs)
What You’ll Do:
Door Assembly:

  • Assemble door units per assigned work tickets, blueprints, or specs

  • Measure, cut, and prepare materials using hand and power tools

  • Install components such as frames, trim, windows, and hardware

  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments using glue, irons, and sanders

Production & Quality:

  • Meet daily productivity targets as set by the supervisor

  • Inspect materials and finished doors for accuracy and quality

  • Follow detailed instructions to ensure proper dimensions and configurations

Teamwork & Safety:

  • Collaborate with team members across the production floor

  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with company policies

  • Use tools and equipment safely and according to established protocols
What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1+ year of carpentry, woodworking, or general assembly experience

  • Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, or work orders

  • Experience with hand tools, nail guns, sanders, saws, or drills

  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs
Preferred:

  • Prior experience in door assembly or building materials

  • Familiarity with warehouse systems or inventory tools

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new assembly configurations
