Job Description



Job Overview

  • Department: Warehouse Distribution Centers (2945 and 2811)

  • Hourly Rate: $18/hr (remains the same upon hire)

  • Full-time with company benefits available after hire

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (2 paid 15-minute breaks, ½ hour non-paid lunch)

  • Location: Brunswick, OH
Experience and Education

  • Experience: At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a large, fast-paced facility

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent

  • Warehouse Experience: Previous experience supporting Receiving, Fulfillment, and Shipping functions in a Distribution Center
Warehouse Associate Guidelines

  • Key Tasks:

  • Unload trucks/containers

  • Process receipts and replenish stock

  • Band/wrap freight orders

  • Use Warehouse Management System

  • Meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • Available for overtime at short notice

  • Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned

  • Utilize company vehicle for interoffice transport and deliveries
Maintenance Guidelines

  • Facility Upkeep: Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of both facilities

  • Routine Maintenance: Perform routine PM maintenance on food production equipment

  • Audit Preparation: Assist SQF Team in preparing for yearly audits

  • Light Maintenance: Handle tasks like changing light bulbs, coordinating recycling and trash removal

  • Safety Checks: Conduct monthly, weekly, and quarterly checks (fire extinguishers, dock doors, freezer alarms)

  • Building Closure: Close the building as needed when supervisors are on PTO
Skills Required

  • Equipment Operation: Forklift, Tow Motor, Pallet Jacks, etc.

  • Safety Awareness: Strong safety practices

  • Driving Record: Excellent driving record

  • Computer Skills: Intermediate (scanning, typing, navigation)

  • Fulfillment & Receiving Knowledge: Strong understanding of processes

  • Communication & Organization: Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Problem Resolution: Ability to understand and resolve problems

  • Math Skills: Intermediate math skills

  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50 lbs
