Job Description

Growing manufacturing company in Valley City is seeking 3rd shift skilled Machine Operators.

Machine Operator
3rd Shift 7:00pm - 5:30am Sunday - Thursday
Pay $21-26/hr

Machine Operator Summary
Puts bands on finished coils and places them on proper pallets and bands them to the pallets. Assists operator in maximizing productivity.

Machine Operator Responsibilities
  • Loads coil on uncoiler.
  • Unloads scrap.
  • Unloads cuts from uncoiler to turnstile.
  • Reads and understands job ticket.
  • Bands coils once on turnstile.
  • Bands coils on pallet.
  • Cuts bands.
  • Core cuts and spot welds.
Machine Operator Qualifications
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Machine Operator Math Skills
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Machine Operator Certificates/Licenses
  • Forklift operator certification.
