Job Description


We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our Production Team in Medina, Ohio. In this role, you will help manufacture high-quality candles and related products using a variety of machinery and production processes. Machine Operator Available Shifts & Pay:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (8:30 AM start on your first day)

  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Training may begin on 1st shift)
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Training may begin on 1st shift)
  • Pay Rate: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on shift)

Machine Operator Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various machines to produce candles through pouring, extruding, pressing, and dipping processes

  • Perform machine setup and changeovers including molds, dies, wicks, wax blends, fill heights, and cutting blades

  • Measure and adjust equipment to ensure product quality and consistency

  • Enter production data into the Root tracking system accurately

  • Troubleshoot machine and material issues to minimize downtime and scrap

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Collaborate with other departments and support teams

  • Perform pre-shift inspections and assist with general production tasks as needed

Machine Operator Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • At least 1 year of machine operation experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to learn new processes and contribute to team success

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift

  • Regularly lift up to 25 pounds

  • Occasionally lift 40–60 pounds (required for certain roles)

  • Ability to work in a warm manufacturing environment, especially during summer months
