Job Description

CNC Milling Machinist
1st shift, 10-15 hrs of overtime a week
Starting Pay  $28-36 hr

Position Summary:
A CNC Milling Set-Up Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC milling machines to produce precision metal parts in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. This role involves selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials, ensuring proper machine calibration, and maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Qualifications for CNC Machinist:

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in machining preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in CNC milling machine setup and operation.

  • Proficiency with G-code and M-code programming is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and machining practices.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with quality control and inspection processes.
