Job Description


Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a company that specializes in plastic injection molds, blow molds including injection blow molds for bottle molding, die casting dies and tooling, compression molds, jigs and fixtures, stamping dies, and precision machine work. We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with a background in injection mold tooling to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with steel and aluminum, particularly in custom injection mold building. This is a full time direct hire position in Wake Forest, NC

Pay: $30/hr - $35/hr BOE
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm or 7:30am - 4pm Mon - Fri
Key Responsibilities:

  • Review work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to plan machining operations

  • Take inventory and place orders for required stock and materials

  • Program mills and lathes, including entering instructions and setting reference points

  • Set up machines by installing and adjusting tools, chucks, and attachments

  • Load materials and stock into feed mechanisms

  • Verify settings and dimensions using measuring tools and first-run parts

  • Perform drilling, grooving, turning, facing, knurling, thread chasing, and other operations

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe workspace

  • Complete preventive maintenance on machines and equipment

  • Document work through inspection reports and production logs

  • Stay current on machining techniques and tooling innovations
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience

  • Strong background in tooling and/or building injection molds

  • Hands-on experience with steel and aluminum materials

  • Plastic mold building experience is a strong plus

  • Accurate data entry and solid computer skills

  • Excellent math and measurement skills

  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities

  • Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic manufacturing environment
