Job Description

Alliance Industrial has partnered with a new up and coming company in the Youngstown area. We are looking to build up their work force with associates who are looking to train on new skills and become tool and die machine operators

Pay Rate: $19/hr
Shift: 1st 6:00am - 2:30pm (overtime may be available upon experience)
Location: Warren


Job Skills Required
  • Mechanical Aptitude - Have run or some understanding of a machine run environment
  • The use of measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Problem-Solving - The ability to identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the fabrication or repair process.
  • Attention to Detail  Ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Communication Skills - Effective communication with the your team members.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with Machine Operation - Helps set up and operate various machine tools like lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
  • Material Handling - Includes lifting, moving, and positioning materials and work pieces using cranes or other lifting equipment, as well as preparing materials for machining.
  • Assembly and Fitting - Assists in the assembly of tools and dies, ensuring parts fit together properly, and performs tasks like filing, grinding, and adjusting parts.
  • Following Blueprints and Instructions - Learn to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and CAD/CAM files to understand specifications and work sequences. Training will be provided
  • Inspecting and Measuring - Assists in the inspection of finished products for defects, verifying dimensions, and ensuring they meet the required specifications.
  • General Support - Performs tasks like cleaning and maintaining equipment, keeping work areas organized, and assisting with other duties as needed.
  • Learning and Development - Actively participates in on-the-job training and classroom instruction to gain the knowledge and skills required to become a journeyman in the field. 
Educational Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
  • Will also accept associates with on job experience
