Job Description


Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a certified precision CNC machine shop that specializes in prototypes and low to mid-volume production for OEMs and we are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team in Apex, NC

Pay: $18/hr
Shift: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri
 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Move forklifts and scrap materials out of Building 1 at the start of each day
  • Cut material for production jobs according to specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
  • Pack and unpack parts as requested
  • Put away incoming material and supplies
  • Pick and prepare material for jobs when needed
  • Ensure shop supplies (cleaning materials and consumables) are stocked at all times
  • Check and maintain coolant levels and filters in machines daily
  • Clean shop floors at the end of each shift
  • Empty machine chip bins regularly
  • Quickly address and clean up any oil or coolant spills
  • Oil and pack parts for shipment
  • Assist with basic assembly of parts when required
  • Replace air filters throughout the facility on a monthly schedule
  • Load and unload trucks, operating a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Perform daily forklift inspections

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to responsibilities
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials
