Position Overview
Alliance Industrial is seeking skilled and agile Machine Operators in the Production Department at our Medina location. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality candles and related products using various processes and machinery.

Key Details
  • Shift: All Shifts
  • 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (8:30 a.m. start on the first day)
  • 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (may train on 1st)
  • 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
  • Pay Rate: $15.00 / hour - $18.00 / hour (depending on shift preference)
  • Department: Production Department (Medina)
  • Reports To: Production Supervisor (Medina)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate multiple machines to produce candles and related products using various processes (pouring, extruding, pressing, dipping)
  • Measure, record, and adjust machines to maintain product consistency according to specifications
  • Record production data into the Root production tracking system
  • Minimize downtime and scrap while suggesting performance improvements
  • Perform pre-shift inspections and troubleshoot machine and raw material issues
  • Execute machine/product changeovers, including dies, molds, wax blends, wick, blocks, fill heights, and cutting blades
  • Collaborate with other functional and support departments as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or needed
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months of machine operating experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good manual dexterity and coordination
  • Openness to new ideas and a desire to learn
  • Physical Demands
  • Stand for 8+ hours a day
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to lift 40-60 pounds periodically (for 2 of the 3 open positions)
  • Tolerate hot conditions, especially during summer months
Additional Requirements
  • Flexibility to work extended shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed
  • Arrive at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of employment
