Job Description


Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a leading promotional product distributor and we are looking for Embroidery Machine Operators to join our fast-paced production team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with production experience who take pride in quality craftsmanship and are eager to grow within a supportive, performance-driven environment.  This is a full time position located in Durham, NC.

Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday
  • 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Pay & Growth Opportunities:
  • Starting Wage: $16.00/hour (includes training period)
  • Increase to $17.00/hour after meeting a production goal of 30 quality units/hour for 30 consecutive days
  • Promotion to Embroidery Lead ($18.00/hour) available after 90 days of consistent performance and completion of peer training

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate multi-head embroidery machines with proper threads, needles, and materials
  • Interpret design specifications to ensure proper placement and alignment
  • Inspect completed products for quality, addressing any issues promptly
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting on machines
  • Hoop and prepare garments accurately for embroidery
  • Maintain organized records of machine settings, inventory, and completed work

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a fast-paced production environment
  • Embroidery or sewing experience a plus
  • Patience - You will have to re-thread needles on the machine many times throughout the day
  • Coachability - You must be willing to learn and able to keep up with training
  • Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet hourly production goals
  • Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
  • Reliable transportation
