Machine Operators Needed!

Location: Youngstown, OH

Pay Rate: $20.75/hr
Job Type: Direct Hire
Shift: Rotating every other week —
  • 1st week: 7am-3pm
  • 2nd week: 3pm-11pm
  • 3rd week: 11pm-7am

Mandatory Experience:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or mill setting is required.

  • Familiarity with machine setup, material handling, and quality control processes is essential.

  • Experience handling coils, bundles, and racks (up to 100 lbs) is a must.

  • Longevity in previous roles is highly valued, demonstrating reliability and a commitment to quality work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with coil loading, machine setup, and material handling.

  • Cut material, wipe rolls, and crank reducing rolls.

  • Adjust metal racks and conveyors to receive finished material.

  • Assist in stacking, strapping, and quality checks.

  • Maintain a clean work area and follow safety protocols.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Skills: Basic math, ability to read measurement tools (tape measure, caliper, micrometer), follow written/verbal instructions.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to push coils, handle wooden/metal racks (50–100 lbs), and operate shears.

  • Work Environment: Manufacturing and mill setting.
