Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift (3PM–11PM) | $18.25/hr | Full-Time | Youngstown, OH
 

Alliance Industrial Solutions is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for a full-time 2nd shift position at a leading aluminum manufacturing facility in Youngstown, Ohio. If you have sit-down or stand-up forklift experience and are looking for steady hours with overtime opportunities, this role offers consistent work and long-term potential.

Pay: $18.25 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Mandatory Weekend Overtime)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: On-site in Youngstown, OH
Forklift Operator Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to move, load, and stage aluminum products

  • Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring secure and balanced shipments

  • Pick and stage customer orders using shipping paperwork and labels

  • Inspect outgoing materials for damage, accuracy, and quality

  • Use scanners and shipping documents to track inventory and shipments

  • Perform routine forklift safety inspections and report mechanical issues

  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping area

  • Assist with inventory counts and material organization

  • Communicate with production, supervisors, and shipping teams to meet deadlines
Forklift Operator Requirements

  • Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred)

  • Warehouse or manufacturing experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to read and follow shipping documents accurately

  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work mandatory overtime
