Machine Operator – $19/hr – Charlotte, NC – Multiple Shifts

Now hiring Machine Operators in Charlotte, NC!

Pay: $19/hr
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate Openings
Available Shifts
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday
  • C1 Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Thursday–Sunday
  • C2 Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Saturday–Tuesday

Training will be completed on 1st shift before transition to assigned schedule.
Machine Operator Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines, lathes, surface grinders, centerless grinders, and polishers
  • Perform precision machining and production work
  • Set up tools and support machine operation
  • Read blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and tolerances
  • Enter production information into the system
  • Perform basic routine machine maintenance
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of machine operating or CNC experience
  • Experience with milling or lathe operation preferred
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Comfortable working with small, detailed parts
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Basic computer skills
  • Reliable attendance and solid work history
  • Must be able to train on 1st shift

  • Materials may include common manufacturing chemicals
