Logistics Clerk – Temporary (5–6 Months) | 1st Shift | $20/hr | Orrville, OH

We are hiring a Logistics Clerk in Orrville, Ohio for a temporary 5–6 month assignment on 1st shift, paying $20 per hour, with overtime available. This role supports daily logistics operations by coordinating truck traffic, processing documentation, and completing system transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Pay & Schedule

  • Pay: $20.00 per hour

  • Assignment Length: Temporary role lasting approximately 5–6 months

  • Shift: 1st Shift

  • Hours: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Overtime: Fridays and Saturdays as required
Responsibilities

  • Weigh trucks in and out and direct drivers to proper locations

  • Prepare, review, and organize load documentation with accuracy

  • Complete system transactions and data entry as directed (SAP experience is a plus, not required)

  • Prioritize daily tasks while handling frequent interruptions

  • Communicate clearly with drivers, coworkers, and leadership

  • Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned

  • Work independently and resolve issues as they arise
Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Professional phone and email etiquette

  • Experience using standard office equipment (printer, copier, fax, calculator)

  • Willingness to work overtime, including Fridays and Saturdays
