$23.25/hour Monday - Friday (Rotating Weekly)
7:00am - 7:00pm
7:00pm - 7:00am
Are you a detail-oriented professional with strong mechanical and mathematical skills? Join a stable, union manufacturing team in Youngstown as a Mill Helper. This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering immediate permanent employment, competitive wages, and long-term career growth.


Core Requirements

  • Measurement: Proficient in using a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to read/comprehend part drawings, Manufacturing Orders, and quality check sheets.

  • Math: Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

  • Communication: Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

  • Physical: Capable of lifting and moving up to 100 lbs.

  • Reliability: High School Diploma/GED preferred and a track record of dependable attendance.


What You Will Do

  • Assist operators with machine setup and material coil loading.

  • Perform precision material handling including cutting, stacking, and banding.

  • Conduct quality checks against technical drawings and inspection sheets.

  • Operate Jib Cranes and manage exit-end racking setup/teardown.

  • Maintain the production flow by banding and wrapping finished products.

  • Ensure a safe, clean environment by maintaining equipment and work areas.
