Alliance Industrial Solutions Job Opportunity – Morrisville, NC

Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Morrisville, NC
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Pay: $17/Hr
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Summary
Alliance Industrial Solutions has an opportunity in Morrisville, NC for a Warehouse Associate. This role is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions including receiving materials, processing inventory, picking and packing orders, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.
Essential Functions

  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials.

  • Pick, fill, pack, and ship orders.

  • Manage, organize, and retrieve stock within the warehouse.

  • Work closely with the supervisor to complete tasks in a timely manner.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement through lean practices.

  • Assist with unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.

  • Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and workflow demands.

  • Prepare orders by processing supply requests, pulling materials, and staging for delivery.

  • Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards.

  • Open crates, bales, and other containers as needed.

  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, keeping shelves and work areas organized.

  • Wear proper safety equipment at all times.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Title Requirements Warehouse Associate

  • 2 years of warehouse experience.

  • Receive incoming shipments and stock products.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.

  • Operate basic material-handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks).

  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow safety policies.

  • Complete logs, checklists, and inventory forms accurately.

Skills and Requirements

  • Ability to follow instructions and read work tickets.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Strong team orientation and positive attitude.

  • Ability to meet physical demands listed below.

  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.

  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends when needed.
Education and Experience

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

  • Primarily a warehouse and production environment, with occasional outdoor tasks.

  • Use of standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, box cutters, and tape dispensers.

  • Environment is not climate controlled and may include exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise.

  • PPE must be worn at all times.
Physical Demands

  • Regular use of hands to handle materials, reach, and communicate.

  • Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

  • Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing.

  • Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 75 lbs, and occasionally over 100 lbs.

  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
